The Strategic Finance team is on a dual mission to enable Yext's efficient growth and rethink how a modern FP&A team operates. We operate across the full spectrum of financial strategy, from FP&A, capital allocation, and investor relations, to how our broader team works- how we build models, surface insights, automate workflows, and partner with the business. We're early in our AI-enabled journey, and the person who joins now will help define what it looks like.
We are looking for a
Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance, who is as excited about the adoption of AI tools in their workflows as they are about financial strategy. You will spend part of your day being a trusted business partner to senior leaders, part of your day working on bespoke analysis requested by our CFO and Board, and part of your day reimagining how a finance team operates. Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience applying AI tools to real projects, not just familiarity with the concept.
What You'll Do- Develop and manage financial models to support Yext's strategic investments and key initiatives, such as M&A and debt issuance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support and financial rigor around key strategic and operational decisions, such as new products and profitability of existing product offerings
- Own the budgeting and forecasting process for select departments, including monthly close, rolling forecasts, annual planning, and variance analysis
- Act as the finance business partner and P&L owner, working closely with leadership to support operations, and manage accountability across a material portion of the company's expense base
- Lead the team's adoption and experimentation with AI tools- identifying where they can accelerate our work in modeling, reporting, and analysis
- Act as an internal resource and evangelist for what's possible with emerging AI tooling in a finance context
- Contribute to investor relations activities and competitor/peer analysis
What You Have- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role (finance, analytics, consulting, or adjacent - we're flexible on the exact mix)
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI tools - you've actually used them to do real work, not just played around with demos
- A genuine curiosity about what AI can do and a track record of experimenting and learning independently
- Experience working on a finance team, with a working knowledge of financial concepts, modeling, and the metrics used to run a business
- Proven ability to build relationships and trust with business partners at all levels of the organization
Bonus Points- Background in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or FP&A in a tech/tech adjacent business
- Experience driving corporate or department-level strategic analysis and initiatives
- Experience with Claude, Anaplan, Looker and Tableau

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee's job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

$108,000-$130,000 USD
