Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst Agile Reporting and Metrics, Technology and Integration Delivery will work with our Product and development teams to achieve high levels of Agile maturity and delivery. This is an analytical position with expertise in Agile methodologies, data visualization, and reporting, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress, team velocity, and overall Agile health within a dynamic development environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement comprehensive Agile metrics aligned with project goals, including velocity, cycle time, burn down charts, lead time, and quality indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical metrics for tracking project performance and decision-making.
  • Analyze trends and patterns in Agile metrics to identify areas for improvement and facilitate continuous process optimization.
  • Create visually appealing dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Jira Dashboards) to effectively communicate key Agile metrics to diverse audiences.
  • Design customized reports for different levels of management, highlighting critical insights and actionable data.
  • Proactively identify data anomalies and investigate root causes to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Facilitate discussions on Agile practices and metrics during sprint retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coach teams on data-driven decision making and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the Agile framework.
  • Implement process changes based on data analysis to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
  • Extract data from Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards) to generate reports and analyze trends.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through quality checks and data cleansing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, development teams, and project managers to understand their reporting needs and provide tailored insights.
  • Present data-driven findings to key stakeholders, clearly communicating key trends and actionable recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technology field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with Agile software development teams.
  • Three (3) years of experience with data analysis techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, trend analysis, root cause analysis).
  • Expertise in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Jira Dashboards) to create compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing Agile metrics and reporting dashboards in a software development environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and drive process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management tools such as TFS, JIRA, or CA Agile (Rally)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree in a related technology field.
    • Five (5) years' experience working with Agile software development teams.
    • Five (5) years' experience with data analysis techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, trend analysis, root cause analysis).
    • Experience in the commercial aviation industries with exposure to supporting IT systems and technologies.
    • Working knowledge of industry standards in project management and development methodologies (Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), SEI, Agile Methods, Rational Unified Process (RUP), etc.).
  • Demonstrated analytical and basic project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
    • Strong interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills including the ability to motivate and influence others, and able to foster and contribute to a positive, upbeat team environment.
    • Strong customer service ethic and an understanding of how IT is ultimately delivers to the customer.
    • High tolerance for working in a dynamic and shifting environment and able to readily embrace and participate in change initiatives.
    • Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Effective time management and prioritization skills.

Crewmember Expectations:
    • Regular attendance and punctuality.
    • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
    • Able to maintain a professional appearance.
    • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
    • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.

Compensation:
  • The base pay range for this position is between $100,000.00 and $128,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
