Senior Analyst, Release Management
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and versatile individual to fill the role of Senior Analyst, Release Management on our dynamic digital team working on our digital portfolio, including our corporate site www.fourseasons.com, Mobile and Tablet apps, Chat and F&B platforms.
This role blends maintenance and support activities for our digital platforms with release activities to ensure seamless deployment of updates and maintain exceptional operations and customer satisfaction. They will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project teams and our development and sustaining engineering teams across a range of activities and functionalities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in our temporary location of 20 York Mills Rd, then the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Toronto Corporate Office, reporting to the Manager, Platform Experience 6 Web Technologies. This role involves interactions with primarily internal stakeholders at various levels.
What You 6ll Be Doing
Release Management:
- Coordinate the deployment of software updates, patches, and new features in alignment with the release schedule and project timelines for our digital platforms (including our websites, Mobile and Tablet apps, Chat and F&B platforms).
- Monitor deployments, track progress, and collaborate with deployment team to address any issues or conflicts that arise during a release.
- Communicate release schedules, status updates, and post-release impacts to stakeholders.
- Track and report key release metrics for each deployment and provide consolidated reporting across all releases to ensure visibility and continuous improvement.
Acquisition & Deployment:
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Commercial and digital platforms as well as the company 6s strategic business plans.
- Present proposed support changes to business, technical and executive stakeholders as necessary, and follow-up on all issues and required modifications.
- Provide support to the QA team and assist in validating UAT test cases to ensure high-quality releases.
Operational Management:
- Assist in managing the eCommerce platform, ensuring it is up-to-date, secure, and performing optimally.
- Provide technical support for the eCommerce platform, troubleshooting issues and working with vendors and internal teams to resolve them.
- Assist in training team members and stakeholders on platform functionalities and best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Serve as the central point of contact for support-related inquiries and release coordination activities, fostering open communication and collaboration across teams.
- Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing system logs and diagnosing software bugs.
- Monitoring of system crash reports and work with the product technical team to solve them proactively.
- Collaborate with product owners to prioritize support patching activities.
- Act effectively as technical speaker with the business and project team.
- Contribute and maintain a knowledge base of previous support issues.
Who You Are
Mandatory experience and knowledge of:
- Phases of the web development lifecycle.
- Expert with Agile methodologies & frameworks and practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc).
- Familiar with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Node.js, web analytics).
- Atlassian JIRA & Confluence.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Able to exercise independent judgement and take action on it.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize and lead meetings, workshops and group discussions with good presentation skills.
Preferred:
- TestRail or similar test management tools.
- Familiarity and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

What You Bring
- 2-4 years of eCommerce, web development, or a related technical role
- Experience assisting or leading with planning, coordinating, and managing software releases.
- Understanding of the release lifecycle and best practices for code and infrastructure deployment.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and frameworks.
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Bachelor 6s Degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering.
- Relevant certifications (eg, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Agile/Scrum Master).
Salary: CAD $70,000 - $95,000
This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week at our temporary 20 York Mills Road, Toronto, Ontario location with travel, as needed, to our the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
