What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Control, the Senior Analyst's main role is to analyze financial data, specifically focusing on Profit and loss reporting as well as product pricing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, reconciling, and reporting P&L mark to market valuation data on a daily and monthly basis all while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the candidate will be contributing to the overall success of our finance team by taking part in automation and process improvement projects.

How you'll succeed
  • Relationship management - act in a collaborative manner with team members and stakeholders from different backgrounds and experiences. You will liaise daily with Finance, Front Office and other Capital Markets stakeholder groups.
  • Corroboration - provide supporting activities to your team lead, Front Office, Risk Management and Finance, which includes decomposition of P&L by risk factors to ensure business partners, understand the underlying drivers of P&L. Review and consolidate daily commentary and analyses for stakeholders
  • Business focus - accountable to ensure that the control framework for their Line of Business is operating efficiently. Along with your team lead, you will act as the main point of contact for peer and stakeholders in Capital Markets CFO Group, Front Office, Global Operations, Finance, Risk Management, etc. to ensure resolution of all related issues.

  • You're a certified professional. You are a CFA candidate having passed L1, with 3+ years of Product Control or relevant work experience. MBA is a plus.
  • You can demonstrate experience in concepts and processes for the P&L reporting of complex and/or sensitive nature; derivative products, customized securities, cross currencies, forwards, options and other vanilla and non-standard derivative transactions.
