The Opportunity

This role is on a hybrid schedule in either our Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC office in office a few days weekly.

The Central Office for Analytics and Reporting (COAR) is seeking a skilled Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing and enhancing reporting solutions for program teams and risk stripes throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI and Snowflake, with a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively to drive data-driven decision-making.

The Work Itself

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting solutions using Power BI to support program teams and risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective data visualizations.
  • Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing and management, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Enhance existing reports and dashboards to improve usability and performance.
  • Implement data governance and quality assurance processes to ensure reliable reporting.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on Power BI and Snowflake functionalities.
  • Occasionally use Excel for reporting tasks, leveraging VBA for automation and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years development experience with data visualization tools required, with advanced knowledge in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Power BI developer preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, IT, engineering, or other related fields in quantitative or analytical discipline.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing and management.
  • Proficiency in SQL, able to write complex queries and optimize them for performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data structures and provide actionable insights.
  • Expertise in data modeling with a solid understanding of data structures and the ability to design efficient data models.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VBA programming.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Base Pay Range : $85000 - $150000 USD

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
