About the role: Reporting to the Manager, Core Infrastructure, the Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the administration, support, automation, and continuous improvement of EVR's enterprise infrastructure platforms.
As a member of a distributed team, you will support critical on-premises technologies including server, virtualization, storage, desktop virtualization, and infrastructure services while contributing to the organization's cloud adoption, automation, and modernization initiatives. The role combines traditional infrastructure operations with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and emerging AI-enabled operational capabilities to improve reliability, efficiency, and security across the enterprise.

In this role you will:- Demonstrate leadership in safety, health, environmental, and sustainability practices
- Administer and support enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments, including VMware ESXi, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, NetScaler, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services
- Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security, and support incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement
- Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using PowerShell, Terraform, and cloud-native services to improve consistency and reduce operational risk
- Partner with Cybersecurity, Networking, Security, Applications, and Digital Technology teams to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure aligned with governance standards
- Maintain technical documentation and standards, and leverage AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve troubleshooting, knowledge management, and service delivery
- Participate in on-call and after-hours support as required in a 24x7 operational environment
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience, with 3+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
- Experience supporting VMware ESXi/Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops/NetScaler, Windows Server 2016 or later, Active Directory, and core Microsoft services
- Working knowledge of storage, networking, server hardware, backup, and disaster recovery technologies, plus PowerShell automation and strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in distributed, multi-site environments
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure, Terraform/IaC, Azure DevOps, GitHub, source control, and CI/CD methodologies
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, observability, operational analytics, and AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot; relevant Azure, VMware, Terraform, Citrix, or ITIL certifications are an asset
Salary: $96,000 - $113,000 CAD/year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
