Why this job's a big deal:In your capacity as a Senior Analyst, you will act as a liaison between our team and Finance stakeholders across the organization - partnering with leadership across diverse Finance verticals, such as Accounting, Tax, AR, and AP, to streamline reporting requests, mitigate technical hurdles, and foster cross-departmental synergy.
In this role, you will:- Serve as the main stakeholder liaison between our team and Finance stakeholders, building strong working relationships with leads across finance verticals, such as Accounting, Tax, AR, AP.
- Act as the go-to point for incoming requests, issues & priorities from Finance stakeholders.
- Configure & manage & continuously improve a ticketing/workflow tool (eg.: Jira Service Management or something similar) to track & prioritize incoming requests.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Finance, and cross-functional partners to provide regular reporting/visibility on request volumes, turnaround times, and open issues to both Finance leadership and internal stakeholders..
- Leverage data analysis, data warehousing, and BI knowledge to understand, contextualize, and help scope Finance stakeholder requests.
- Apply working knowledge of Tableau, data warehousing, and SQL to better understand business requirements and, where needed, assist with critical ad-hoc queries.
Who you are:- Working knowledge of core finance functions - Accounting, Tax, AR, AP - deep technical accounting expertise is not required.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing a ticketing/workflow tool (e.g., Jira Service Management or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to influence and coordinate across departments without formal authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting issues and metrics to leadership.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, particularly when resolution depends on teams outside of Finance.
- Prior hands-on experience with data analysis, data warehousing, and BI tools/concepts - able to understand data-related requests and work effectively with technical teams.
- Working knowledge of Tableau reports, data warehousing concepts, OBIEE/OAS reports and SQL (BigQuery)- while not a core responsibility, this helps the candidate better understand business requirements, collaborate effectively with the team, and independently handle critical ad-hoc queries when needed.

The salary range for this position is $110,000- $145,000K USD.
