In this role, you will apply strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and disciplined execution to generate high-quality discovery data and advance antibody discovery programs.
Your Responsibilities - Execute antibody discovery campaigns using established selection workflows, including single-B cell approaches, phage display, and yeast display.
- Perform molecular biology workflows including PCR, high-throughput cloning, DNA and RNA purification, gel electrophoresis, and preparation of samples for next-generation sequencing (NGS).
- Conduct high-throughput primary screening assays, including ELISA and flow cytometry, to identify and characterize lead antibody candidates.
- Maintain accurate and timely experimental records in electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN), ensuring data is validated, organized, and properly formatted for project databases.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety standards, and equipment readiness while communicating experimental progress and collaborating effectively with Antibody Discovery team members.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications) - Education: Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related scientific field; OR Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field with 2-4 years of relevant laboratory experience in a research or industry setting.
- Experience: Hands-on experience working in a molecular biology, biologics discovery, or related research laboratory environment.
- Skills: Proficiency with molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, DNA and RNA purification, and gel electrophoresis; experience conducting ELISA or other immunoassay-based screening techniques.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred qualifications) - Experience with antibody discovery platforms, including single-B cell workflows, phage display, and/or yeast display.
- Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, or other high-throughput antibody screening methods.
- Experience preparing molecular biology samples for next-generation sequencing.
- Experience with DNA and RNA purification workflows.
- Understanding of antibody structure, function, and biologics discovery principles.
- Experience with bioinformatic analysis and selection of antibodies and other proteins.
- Demonstrated ability to execute complex laboratory protocols consistently and accurately while managing multiple activities in a collaborative research environment.
