Job SummaryThe Senior AI Engineer delivers value across enterprise AI platforms, including M365 Copilot, Claude Enterprise, and ChatGPT Enterprise, through platform administration, reusable AI skills, connectors, and integrations. This role transforms recurring business workflows and backlog requests into governed, scalable, and reusable AI capabilities while ensuring compliance with established security, governance, and evaluation processes.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and configure enterprise AI platforms, including M365 Copilot, Claude Enterprise, and ChatGPT Enterprise.
- Manage user entitlements, provisioning, workspace settings, connectors, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain reusable AI skills in accordance with governance standards, including risk tiering, evaluation suites, and review workflows.
- Build and configure connectors integrating AI platforms with enterprise systems such as project tracking, document management, IT service management, and data platforms.
- Develop collaboration-channel integrations, including Microsoft Teams, and other platform-native solutions.
- Package and manage AI skills through version-controlled repositories and CI processes, including versioning and evaluation checks on pull requests.
- Convert recurring business workflows into scalable and reusable AI solutions.
- Support AI adoption through enablement initiatives, hackathons, and training.
- Partner with governance teams to maintain, review, version, and monitor the enterprise AI skills catalog.
- Execute platform changes and entitlement requests through established approval processes while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Follow established AI governance, security-review, and evaluation processes.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of job-related experience for the senior level in software engineering, integration engineering, or platform administration, in excess of degree requirements.
- Hands-on experience with LLM or AI platforms, including administration or configuration.
- Strong Python and API integration experience.
- Experience building connectors and/or developing reusable AI skills.
- Strong integration-design skills, including clean system interfaces, effective data flows, and reusable and maintainable components.
- Experience with Git, pull-request workflows, and evaluation-gated deployments.
- Ability to translate repetitive business workflows into well-scoped, reusable solutions.
- Ability to work within established AI governance, security, and evaluation frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience administering enterprise AI platforms such as M365 Copilot, Claude Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, or comparable platforms.
- Familiarity with vector search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
- Experience with data and search platforms such as pgvector, Azure AI Search, or Databricks.
- Experience with enterprise productivity and collaboration integrations, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with AI governance practices, including risk tiering, evaluation suites, and versioning.
- Experience working in a regulated or audit-driven environment.
