Position Overview: This position supports the
a Marine Corps Program Office as a
Senior AI Data Analyst. This effort provides dedicated Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) expertise to the Headquarters Marine Corps Installations & Logistics (HQMC I&L) Global Positioning Network Program Office (GPN PO). The Senior AI Data Analyst serves as the lead analyst and on-site coordinator at the Pentagon, directing an off-site data team and delivering analytics, modeling, and simulation products that inform prepositioning and global logistics decisions. This is a Key Personnel position.

Job Type: Full-time/Exempt
Location: On-Site: The Pentagon, Arlington, VA (Government business hours 0700-1700 EST, Monday through Friday)
Anticipated Start Date: Upon Contract Award (Anticipated: September 30, 2026)
Position Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary on-site analytical advisor for Analytics, Modeling, and Simulation efforts at the Pentagon; facilitate technical discussions with Government stakeholders and external entities.
- Lead and direct the off-site junior/mid-level data team, setting priorities, reviewing products, and ensuring analytical quality and timeliness.
- Implement data standards and deploy automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from disparate sources and transform data into usable metrics.
- Construct data sets, monitor data quality, and troubleshoot and resolve database issues to ensure data integrity for model input.
- Develop algorithms, user interfaces, and visualizations using languages such as Python and R to communicate analytical results to senior decision-makers.
- Apply AI/ML frameworks to develop predictive models, recommend optimal solutions, and analyze complex logistics datasets.
- Build, run, and refine high-resolution models and simulations supporting prepositioning planning and global logistics analysis.
Requirements
Position Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Eight or more years of related experience.
- Expertise in developing algorithms, creating user interfaces, synthesizing data, and producing visualizations using languages like Python or R.
- Proven experience applying AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) to develop predictive models, recommend optimal solutions, and analyze complex datasets.
- Experience using high-resolution, complex modeling and simulation software (e.g., ExtendSim) and simulation-optimization tools (e.g., OptDef).
- Familiarity with how data is captured and used from DoW logistics systems (e.g., TFSMS, GCSS-MC, MCPIC) and the ability to manipulate these sources for model input.
- Active Secret security clearance (must be maintained for the duration of the contract).
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW Common Access Card (CAC).
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience supporting Marine Corps or Joint logistics organizations, prepositioning programs, or the PPBE process.
- Experience leading distributed analytical teams in a client-facing environment.
- Experience with cloud analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, War Data Platform) and DoW data environments.
Pay Range United States of America: $125,000 - $150,000 USD.
