Senior AI & Cybersecurity Program Manager

UST is searching for an experienced Senior AI & Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead complex enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and emerging AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong program management experience, with exposure to AI/GenAI, AI governance, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and enterprise technology adoption.

The opportunity:
• Lead and manage complex, enterprise-wide AI, cybersecurity, IT, and technology programs from planning through successful execution.
• Drive AI/GenAI initiatives, including enterprise AI adoption, Microsoft Copilot, emerging technology programs, and related governance activities.
• Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues, and action items.
• Establish and manage program governance frameworks, processes, and operating models.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Cybersecurity, IT, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Procurement, and business teams.
• Lead vendor evaluations, technology assessments, POCs, and implementation activities.
• Manage program budgets, resource planning, vendor coordination, and financial tracking.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, and program updates.
• Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Drive accountability across project teams and ensure timely completion of key deliverables.

What you need:
• 10+ years of Program Management experience leading complex cybersecurity, IT, or technology initiatives.

o 2+ years of exposure to AI, GenAI, Copilot, AI governance, or emerging technology programs.

o Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across Security, IT, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Procurement, and business teams.

o Strong track record driving vendor evaluations, POCs, budgeting, executive reporting, and governance programs.

o Experience building and running security awareness, change management, and adoption programs at enterprise scale.

o Ability to operate independently, drive accountability, manage risks, and communicate effectively with executives and technical teams.
• Nice to Have:

o Cybersecurity background (AI Security, Cloud Security, Privacy, GRC, Risk Management).

o Experience with AI governance frameworks, Responsible AI, NIST AI RMF, or enterprise AI adoption programs.

o PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation Range: $88,000-$132,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
