Responsibilities- Own the architecture of TeamViewer's AI platform, defining how internal and third-party agents discover context, access tools, and execute actions across TeamViewer ONE.
- Define the platform architecture for agent orchestration, tool integration, context management, memory, and trust boundaries.
- Establish standards for evaluating, monitoring, and improving AI systems, including observability, quality measurement, and production tracing.
- Drive architectural decisions around model selection, routing, fallback strategies, vendor dependencies, and cost optimization.
- Partner with Security to design safeguards for AI systems, including permission controls, tenant isolation, auditability, and protection against prompt-based attacks.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on guidance to engineering teams during planning and delivery.
- Lead architecture and design reviews and maintain clear, accessible documentation.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks related to scalability, reliability, model behavior, vendor dependencies, licensing, and compliance.
Requirements- 7+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering complex, large-scale systems.
- Deep expertise in AI and agent-based architectures, including tool-using agents, retrieval systems, context engineering, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation methodologies.
- Strong hands-on development experience in Python and TypeScript, with familiarity across technologies such as Java, Kotlin, React, C++, and C#.
- Experience bringing AI-powered products into enterprise production environments, including security, compliance, multi-tenancy, reliability, and cost management.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and scalable design patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders and drive decisions across teams.
- Experience with software licensing, open-source compliance, and risk management for AI technologies and third-party dependencies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
