Full Job Description
As an senior actuarial analyst in the actuarial team in the insurance sector at National Bank, you'll be a specialist in data and risks. With your information technology skills, your actuarial experience and your knowledge of insurance, you'll have a positive impact on the overall profitability and the product offer of the company.

Your role:
  • Produce various actuarial studies
  • Compute actuarial projections, liabilities and results
  • Participate in the automation and simplification of processes
  • Ensure of the accuracy of data
  • Support management in the decision-making process
  • Identify risks and implement controls
  • Participate in reports writing

Your team:

As part of the actuarial team in the insurance sector, you'll be on a team of 5 colleagues and you'll report to the senior director actuaries. Our team stands out for its specialized and unique expertise of the insurance field and by a collaboration experience with various sectors not only of the insurance sector but also within the bank. The actuaries sector gives the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks and to participate in the delivery of new initiatives.

Prerequisites:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or actuarial sciences
  • Experience in SQL programming
  • ASA, AICA title

  • 5 years minimum experience in the insurance industry
  • IFRS 17 knowledge

English, French
