SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER for rapidly growing non-automotive service based client in Oakland County.
REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Accounting Manager role
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Multi-site / multi-entity experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Understanding of WIP
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Accounting Manager role
- Own the monthly close for mulitple sites, ensuring consistent timelines, policies, and chart-of-accounts treatment across locations
- Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for site leadership
- Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across sites
- Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet support prepared by site and AR/AP staff
- Directly manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team
- Prepare and consolidate accurate, timely financial reporting across assigned sites.
- Support cash flow and liquidity reporting, including AR/AP aging and working-capital trends across assigned sites
- Analyze complex reconciliations and build financial models to support ad hoc initiatives and site-level decision-making
- Other Duties as assigned
