Job DescriptionQuality Manager - Middletown, CTMinimum 5 years of experience as a Quality ManagerThe Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously improving Company's Manufacturing s quality management systems to ensure compliance, product integrity, and customer satisfaction. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to embed quality into every stage of the value stream, driving prevention over correction and supporting the company s commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Requirements of the Quality Manager- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of quality systems and inspection methodologies.
- Proven people leadership experience.

Responsibilities of the Quality Manager- Own and maintain the site Quality Management System in alignment with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, AS, customer audits).
- Ensure documented procedures, work instructions, and records are current, effective, and consistently applied.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits (customers, registrars, regulatory bodies).
- Establish quality standards for manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal non-conformances, customer complaints, and audit findings.
- Partner with Operations to reduce scrap, rework, and escapes through data-driven problem solving and process improvement initiatives.
- Champion preventive quality approaches and risk-based thinking.
