We're seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting operations while supporting an upcoming ERP implementation. This role oversees one direct report, partners with cross-functional teams, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Own the month-end close process and financial reporting.
- Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Oversee operational accounting and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Lead and mentor one accounting team member.
- Drive process improvements and support ERP implementation initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders on accounting-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5-8 years of accounting experience.
- Experience leading month-end close.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Background in manufacturing, consumer products, industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
- SAP or comparable ERP experience.
- Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred
- CPA.
- Big 4/public accounting experience.
- ERP implementation experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
Compensation: $120,000-135,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
