As a Senior Accountant, you’ll collaborate closely across accounting teams, working hands-on in our first-class Milton facility to manage core financial processes. This is a great opportunity for a CPA ready to take the next step toward leadership!
Position Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis and accurate financial reporting.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigating discrepancies and ensuring reporting accuracy.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual corporate tax filings.
- Oversee the payroll process for Uline’s Canada operations, ensuring accurate processing, thorough audits and compliance.
- Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting workflows and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with teams across Uline on financial analysis, reporting and business insights that support informed decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- CPA designation.
- 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday a plus.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
