This is a Hybrid role reporting to our City of Industry headquarters 2 days per week

What We're Looking For:

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of SuperCare Health's financial records and supporting accurate, timely financial reporting. This position is responsible for complex account reconciliations, month-end close processes, and continuous improvement of accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for asset, liability, revenue, and expense accounts
  • Lead critical aspects of the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights and recommendations to management
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and budget vs. actual analyses

Reconciliations & Controls
  • Perform and review complex account reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved timely
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls by documenting and improving accounting processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and company policies

Operational Support & Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency through automation and best practices
  • Support implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and system enhancements (including ERP improvements)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Billing, Revenue Cycle, Operations) to ensure accurate financial data flow

Audit & Compliance
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Ensure financial records are audit-ready and compliant with regulatory requirements

General Responsibilities
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support as needed
  • Handle sensitive financial information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
