  • Prepare audit schedules and liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Assist in documenting accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support, mentor, and train other members of the accounting team.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting month-end close activities and monthly and quarterly financial reporting. This role involves completing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis, as well as supporting internal and external audits. The Senior Accountant will also respond to ad hoc management requests, contribute to special projects and departmental initiatives, and assist in training and developing other members of the accounting team.

Qualifications

Wage range: $91,000 - $108,000 CAD
