Full Job Description
Job Purpose

Preparer support of the accounting and financial reporting activities (including monthly/quarterly/annual financial/SOX audits) of AHM Corporate/Next Gen Segment in accordance with IFRS/US GAAP/SOX as well as collaborating with North American Honda subsidiaries for processes and reporting related to AHM's expansion of existing business, including but not limited to telematics, connected services, bundled offerings, and EV (collectively referenced to as "next gen").

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare processes over AHM financial reporting close journal entries, account analyses, and related deliverables for Next Gen Segment with main focus on telematics, connected services, bundled offerings, and EV (collectively referenced to as "next gen").
  • Prepare AHM quarterly/annual audit (including SOX compliance) processes including coordination/support of timely submission of deliverables.
  • Provide subject matter expertise/detailed understanding with business over Next Gen area, supporting discussions related to current/future reporting requirements by working with appropriate business unit(s). Support Supervisor/Assistant Manager in gathering and continuing to collaborate with other business unit(s) in preparation for quarterly reporting. Prepare operating results analysis over related area managerial reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and complete various ad-hoc projects.
  • Prepare assigned monthly/quarterly account reconciliations, Non-GAAP analyses, including analyzing fluctuations in correlation with company operations/program changes, if any. Prepare analysis and processes to support timely monthly/quarterly BOFC analytics to NACT across AHM solo financial reporting.


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or relate field
  • 3+ years in Accounting/Finance
  • Public/accounting and/or accounting in distribution/mfg. company
  • Experience in multi-national company a plus
  • Good communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PPT)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • CPA preferred


Working Conditions

  • On-site Position (80/20)
  • 5% Travel
  • Overtime as necessary
