Full Job Description
We're working with a rapidly scaling company (40-50% year-over-year growth) that was recently acquired by a much larger, publicly traded parent organization. That acquisition means the business is transitioning from a scrappy, founder-run operation into a more structured, compliance-driven environment - and they need a sharp Senior Accountant to help build the runway as they go.

If you thrive on solving problems, building processes, and stepping into a little bit of controlled chaos, this could be your next move.

Why This Role Is Different
This isn't a "keep the lights on" accounting job. You'll be:
  • Building, not just maintaining. The team is standing up new SOPs and controls to meet the reporting standards of a public parent company - you'll help shape how things get done, not just follow an existing playbook.
  • Working across two entities. With a legal-entity transition underway post-acquisition, you'll own multi-entity reconciliation and untangle how transactions in one entity ripple into the other.
  • Getting real ERP and inventory exposure. You'll work with inventory and landed-cost accounting through an ERP system that feeds into QuickBooks, including the added wrinkle of fluctuating tariff costs - great experience for anyone who wants to deepen their operational accounting chops.
  • Operating on a tight, structured close calendar. The parent company's close cadence is fast-paced, which means you'll sharpen your ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure.
  • Positioned for more. While this specific team has a lean structure, the parent organization has a strong track record of promoting talent from newly acquired businesses into corporate roles - many of which are remote.
What You'll Own
  • Full-cycle accounting and month-end close support
  • Multi-entity account reconciliations
  • Accounts payable/receivable oversight
  • Commission process management
  • Timely, accurate monthly financial statements and performance reporting
  • Partnering with department leaders as a trusted finance resource
  • Supporting the build-out of accounting processes and controls for public-company compliance
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills; comfort learning new systems (QuickBooks experience a plus, not required)
  • Working knowledge of how an ERP system supports inventory/operations accounting
  • 3-way match experience
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset - comfortable stepping into ambiguity and helping create order
  • Strong communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally and hold their own with senior leaders
  • Bonus: Spanish or Portuguese language skills
The Team & Culture
You'd be joining a small, tight-knit accounting team that's been through a lot of change lately and leans on each other because of it. Expect a collaborative, low-ego, flexible environment where people genuinely like working together - and where leadership is hands-on, approachable, and open to negotiating what matters most to you.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Benefits are actively improving as the company integrates with its new parent organization
Sound Like You?
If you want to build something rather than just maintain it - and you're excited by the idea of joining a growth story at exactly the right inflection point - we'd love to talk...APPLY NOW!
