Full Job Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting Grow Therapy's accounting operations and financial close process. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, this role will own key close processes, support external audit and tax compliance, and partner cross-functionally to strengthen financial controls and build scalable processes. This role offers the opportunity to own and scale core accounting workstreams, including revenue/accounts receivable, cost of sales/provider payouts, intercompany, and treasury.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Own core accounting processes across Revenue and Accounts Receivable, Cost of Services and Provider Payouts, Intercompany, and Treasury, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Own key balance sheet accounts and drive the month-end close through the preparation of journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and monthly fluctuation analyses, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial results.
  • Assess new partnerships and revenue streams, applying ASC 606 revenue recognition principles to evaluate contracts, document technical accounting conclusions, and ensure new arrangements are recorded appropriately.
  • Support external financial audits and income tax compliance by preparing workpapers, gathering documentation, and serving as a key point of contact for auditors and tax advisors.
  • Architect and implement AI-driven efficiencies across accounting workflows, partnering cross-functionally to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and ensure processes scale with the business.

You'll Be a Good Fit If:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry, and an active CPA preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a solid working knowledge of US GAAP, including experience researching and applying technical accounting concepts (revenue recognition/ASC 606 a plus).
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A continuous improvement mindset paired with curiosity about AI tools: you document what you build, think in systems, and leave processes better than you found them.
