Reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations, this role will oversee end-to-end accounting processes for the Seattle Children's Hospital Foundation, joint ventures, and provider funds. Collaborate with Children's University Medical Group (CUMG) finance team and perform any other miscellaneous duties for the Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations team.
Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Performs a variety of complicated tasks including the ability to assess audit and compliance risks. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. Fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. May direct lower-level accountants or accounting clerks.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or commensurate experience.
Minimum five (5) years experience.
Required Credentials

Healthcare experience.
CPA and/or CMA and public accounting experience.
Experience with accounting areas overseen by this position.
Proficiency with large accounting systems (i.e., Lawson).
Compensation Range
$97,665.00 - $146,497.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
