Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will lead a team of staff accountants responsible for performing general accounting responsibilities. This individual is responsible for ensuring all financial schedules and deadlines are met and guarantees budgets are kept up to date and accurate. The Senior Accountant develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal departments and external vendors.

What You'll Do:
  • Supervises and assists the daily work of team members including: analyzing, researching, and preparing financial information to meet specific daily and monthly deadlines.
  • Reviews team members' invoice coding, journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and month-end schedules.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timely completion of all team financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Assist team members with cost centers, accounts and budget sets-up, reviews proposed additions to budgets.
  • Manages and delegates ad-hoc reports/assignments as needed.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal departments; including but not limited to Legal, Human Resources, and Marketing.
  • Helps to professionally develop all staff accountants.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of department wide plans, goals and deadlines.
  • Oversees the close process.


What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with a degree in accounting
  • CPA preferred
