Job Title: Senior Accountant

Position Summary:This individual will play a key role within corporate accounting function, owning critical balance sheet areas, supporting month end close activities, partnering with the local production to ensure accurate financial reporting and support cost activities. The ideal candidate is hands-on who can independently manage journal entries, reconciliation, problem solve and close deliverables while applying strong GAAP knowledge with a process and value add mindset.
Key Responsibilities:- Own assigned balance sheet accounts and related accounting processes.
- Perform full cycle general ledger accounting, preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Support month close activities in a deadline driven environment.
- Apply GAAP knowledge and perform accounting research to support conclusions.
- Support compliance, reporting and audit related activities across the function.
- Prepare supporting schedules, documentation, and responses for internal and external information requests.
- Perform financial analyses and calculations to support accounting conclusions and reporting requirements.
- Assist with audit inquiries by providing requested documentation and responding to follow-up questions.
- Identify process inefficiencies, compliance risks, value additions, and opportunities to strengthen controls and procedures.
- Support cost function for the local production facility cross functionally while in month end close, before and post close providing ad hoc analyses as requested.
- Collaborate cross functionally with business partners to support local accounting operations, reporting requirements, and process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
- Strong, hands-on GAAP foundation with experience in general ledger accounting responsibilities.
- Experience working in ERP environments - Infor Syteline a plus.
- CPA-track a plus.

Salary Range:- Dependent on skill and experience level.
- $95,000 - $120,000 annually.
