What You'll Do:
- Verify payment and invoice information is correct before distribution. Receive, process, and post incoming payments conduct reconciliations.
- Resolve complex billing questions and concerns.
- Generate, process, and validate commissions. Work with internal teams to confirm fee structures. Verify monthly that terms are correct and up to date.
- Create advanced monthly reports on delinquent accounts, exceptions, contingent liabilities, and aging accounts receivable. Escalate issues to management.
- Partner with the legal team to generate documents.
- Review and verify all documentation to accounting and billing systems is accurate. Process and review employee expense reports.
- Audit processes and standard operating procedures to keep records accurate.
- Work to recover complex debts owed including accounts that have already been written off.
- Manage positive business relationships with collection and credit reporting agencies and credit insurance providers.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Management of client billing for the Real Estate, Projects and Planning (REPP) line of business, including engagement with both operational teams and client stakeholders as required.
- Responsibility for all month end close procedures and reporting associated with REPP. This will include journal and accrual preparation, full P&L oversight and the provision of monthly analysis.
- Oversight of the working capital associated with REPP, including the tracking and reporting of client & interco billing, aged debt, DSO metrics and vendor payables.
- Assistance with reforecasting and budgeting processes for REPP.
- Supporting the REPP Finance Director on an ongoing basis as required.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

The salary range being offered for the Senior Accountant position is between $110,000 annually and $120,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
