Role: Senior Accountant

Location: Tustin, CA

Compensation: $85,000 -$104,000 /year

Position Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and highly independent Senior Accountant to join an established organization in Tustin, CA. This position will take ownership of day-to-day corporate and general ledger accounting across a complex, multi-entity environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong GL accounting experience, excellent reconciliation skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal direction while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recurring journal entries and reclassifications.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting.
  • Handle lease accounting activities.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and transactions across multiple entities.
  • Monitor and record cash and banking activity.
  • Assist with accounts payable activities, including reimbursements, checks, and ACH payments.
  • Ensure accurate project and department coding.
  • Research, identify, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounting functions and ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Support the Controller with day-to-day corporate and general ledger accounting activities.
