Full Job Description
Overview

As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and overseeing the day-to-day execution of social content and creative production projects. You will partner closely with Production, Creative, Strategy, and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are strategically aligned, well organized, and delivered on time and within budget. This role requires strong project management skills, sound judgment, proactive communication, and the ability to confidently manage multiple social content workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

You will serve as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams, helping to translate business, brand, and social objectives into clear project plans, timelines, deliverables, and next steps. You should be comfortable managing fast-moving organic social content, navigating platform-specific requirements, identifying risks and dependencies, resolving challenges, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the production process.

If you have been an Account Manager and/or Project Manager at a Creative, Social, or Production Agency and would love to focus more on social content, organic social, client management, and end-to-end project delivery, this could be for you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as a key point of contact across assigned social, content, and production projects and workstreams
  • Partner with Producers, Creative, Strategy, and other internal teams to plan and execute social-first projects from briefing through final delivery
  • Lead daily campaign maintenance, including internal and client questions regarding tracking, status, deliverables, social content, and project priorities
  • Coordinate internal and client meetings, establish clear agendas, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules, trackers, timelines, and status reports across multiple social content workstreams
  • Own the delivery and tracking of creative assets, social content, campaign artifacts, and all relevant documentation in preparation for launch
  • Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks and work with appropriate teams to develop solutions that keep social content moving quickly and efficiently
  • Develop Ad ID codes and input traffic campaign information into shared grids
  • Manage project finances, including creating job numbers, tracking budgets, and monitoring project spend
  • Review, organize, store, and track POs and other financial documentation
  • Develop and manage project scopes, timelines, and deliverables for social content and production projects with appropriate guidance from senior team members
  • Act as a resource for internal teams regarding client brands, social channels, business priorities, production workflows, and project information
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and manage the day-to-day execution of smaller to mid-sized social and content production projects from briefing through final delivery, including organic social posts, short-form video, animation, digital, and other platform-specific assets
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring expectations, timelines, social content requirements, and deliverables remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide clear and consistent project status updates, escalating issues and making recommendations when additional support or decisions are required
  • Help establish efficient project management processes and workflows that enable teams to develop and deliver high-quality social content at scale
  • Stay informed on social platforms, content formats, and evolving organic social trends to help ensure projects are relevant to the needs of each platform
  • Balance multiple social content projects and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality

Qualifications

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple social content projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to independently manage projects from briefing through delivery, including timelines, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong understanding of creative, social, and production workflows within an agency or similar fast-paced environment
  • Experience working on social media content, organic social campaigns, digital content, or platform-specific creative
  • Able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adhere to fast-moving production timelines
  • Flexibility to tackle different tasks throughout the day and pivot with little or no warning based on client, cultural, social, or production needs
  • Dependability and accountability in execution of work
  • Ability to organize complex information, identify priorities, and determine clear next steps across multiple social and content workstreams
  • Builds trust with clients by reviewing all client-facing and social content materials, ensuring that they are accurate, polished, on brand, and delivered on deadline
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions independently
  • Strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving mentality and an understanding of how brands communicate across social platforms
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
  • Go above and beyond what's expected of you
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively with Creative, Social, Production, Strategy, and client teams
  • Balance the ability to work on a team, as well as independently with limited supervision when required
  • Proactively manages obstacles, risks, and project dependencies and escalates appropriately when needed
  • Ability to confidently communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or comparable position in a creative, social, production, advertising, or content agency
  • Previous experience managing client relationships and leading social, content, or production projects from initiation through completion
