As a Senior Account Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering seamless client experiences while partnering across teams to drive meaningful business results and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)- Partner with clients, agency partners, Sales, Marketing, Research, and cross-functional teams to develop strategic advertising solutions that align with client goals and business objectives.
- Build thoughtful, data-informed media plans that maximize campaign performance, drive revenue, maintain profitability, and leverage Hearst's full portfolio of brands and advertising products.
- Collaborate on RFP strategy, proposal development, and custom program planning, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-sale process.
- Own campaign execution from order creation through launch, ensuring alignment across media plans, insertion orders, contracts, timelines, assets, and internal systems.
- Lead client campaign kickoffs and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the campaign lifecycle, proactively communicating updates, managing expectations, and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Partner with Campaign Management, Paid Social, HearstMade, Yield, and other internal teams to ensure campaigns launch on time, deliver against KPIs, and meet client expectations.
- Analyze campaign performance, contribute to wrap reports, identify renewal and upsell opportunities, and translate post-campaign insights into future client recommendations.
- Serve as a senior resource for the Account Management team by mentoring colleagues, identifying process improvements, and helping evolve products, workflows, and client service best practices.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)- 5+ years of experience in media planning, advertising strategy, account management, or a related field, with demonstrated success managing complex, high-value advertising programs.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and agency relationships while delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising products, media planning, campaign execution, pricing strategies, and campaign performance optimization.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience using Salesforce and familiarity with advertising platforms and technologies such as Google Ad Manager and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage campaign insights to improve performance and uncover growth opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience is preferred.
- This role is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of working in the office four days per week.

The base salary range for this role is
$88,000-$98,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
