Senior Account Manager - Professional Hygiene in
North America, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable growth by strengthening existing customer partnerships and unlocking new business opportunities. You will own the commercial success of a defined customer territory, combining strategic account management with hands-on execution to deliver net sales, margin, and long-term value.
Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, R&D, TS&D, Regulatory and Supply Chain, you will translate customer needs into impactful projects and guide them from concept through successful commercialization. Essential Job Functions- Own and grow net sales and margin for assigned customers, aligned with budget targets, strategic growth initiatives, and long-term business plans.
- Develop trusted relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations to ensure strong engagement and information flow.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities, building and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline.
- Lead commercial and R&D-related customer projects from initiation through successful commercialization.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and growth initiatives while protecting value and profitability.
- Deliver accurate forecasting and demand planning for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient use of resources and customer-centric solutions.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of sales experience within specialty chemicals or ingredients, with a strong track record of driving profitable growth.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of large national accounts alongside small and mid-sized customers.
- Strong business acumen with experience in value-based selling and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
- High level of autonomy, resilience, and customer focus in a remote, field-based role.
- Business-fluent English.
The expected salary range for this role is 168.000$ - 206.000$, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
