Job Description

SAIC is looking for a Security Specialist to help support one of our premier clients in Washington, DC

Job Duties:
  • Provide support to the Emergency Management area of DHS S&T
  • Plan, develop, and support assistance with implementation, and maintenance of DHS/S&T's COOP, devolution plan, and reconstitution plan with associated annexes within the Directorate's Continuity Program
  • Plan, develop, and support assistance with implementation of the DHS/S&T COOP training, exercises, and drills
  • Establish and maintain the DHS/S&T Continuity Program based on a multi-year strategy and program management plan (to include risk management) in accordance with applicable Federal requirements, specifically Federal Continuity Directives 1 & 2 and the Federal Mission Resilience Strategy
  • Participate in required emergency programs working groups including, but not limited to: the Inter-Agency Continuity Working Group, the DHS Continuity Working Group, and the DHS Security Emergency Preparedness Working Group


Qualifications

Required:
  • BS and 6 years of related experience (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship
  • Knowledge of security with DHS and Federal requirements for Inter Agency continuity
