DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, analyze, develop, review, test, debug, deliver and support software and new products. Execute security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting and ensure the security requirements of internal clients are met. Perform end to end software development, including working in Agile frameworks. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Apply specialized tools to analyze and correlate incident data to identify, interpret, and summarize the probability and impact of threats to determine specific vulnerabilities. Lead delivery of continuity-related awareness, training, and exercises. Work with product owners and cyber security operations on agreeing on refining business requirements and acceptance criteria. Assist team in supporting the application in quality assurance and production environments. Responsible for initiatives to revamp the underlying technology and application infrastructure to make it compliant with enterprise-wide controls and policies. Ensure all quality standards are followed for the deliverables through code metrics checks, code reviews, unit and regression testing. Support quality assurance, performance and business user acceptance testing phases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 3 (Three) years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires 3 (Three) years of experience in the following: Designing and developing reliable, scalable, secure, and flexible applications using Java and Python; Developing modular and flexible microservices using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Functions; Developing highly scalable event-based architecture to achieve real time data streaming and distributed streaming platforms using messaging frameworks including Kafka and JMS; Infrastructure management and automating, simplifying, and standardizing deployments using Terraform; Storing, managing, and retrieving data in a structured manner using MySQL, Postgres and SQL; Managing and automating the deployments, scaling, and management of applications within lightweight, portable containers using Docker; Debugging production issues and improving performance in Linux OS; Using logging frameworks such as log4j and slf4j to help production applications identify issues and to create dashboards for stakeholders; Object relational mapping technologies using Hibernate. This position requires 2 (Two) years of experience in the following: API development to achieve enterprise grade and multi-tier architecture using J2EE related technologies; Securing applications and RESTful APIs to create customizable authentication and access control frameworks; Using Spring Security, JWT and OAuth2.0; Building automation using Maven and Gradle; CI/CD using Jenkins, Bitbucket or Git; Using Cloud technologies such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB or RDS; Developing UI based single-page applications using Angular and React; Developing frontend web applications using Markup Languages such as HTML5 and CSS3; Developing fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library- based applications using jQuery and JavaScript; Managing behavior-driven development using Selenium, Karate and Cucumber; Test driven development using tools such as JUnit and Mockito; Enterprise application development using microservices; Developing SOAP- and RESTful-based APIs in enterprise applications. This position requires 1 (One) year of experience in the following: Developing XML and JSON documents for enterprise applications; Hosting web applications on web servers using Tomcat; Maintaining system administration and task automation using scripting technologies such as Bash and Groovy; API management using technologies such as Apigee; Using mySQL to improve performance and redundancy of data storage through load distribution and schema-less design across nodes; Developing non-blocking, event-driven architecture using NodeJS; Log aggregation and security events orchestration using Splunk.
