Full Job Description
Position Title: Security Analyst
Location: Onsite in Washington D.C
Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret required (TS/SCI preferred or ability to obtain SCI)

U.S. Citizenship required: This position requires an active or the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance as mandated by government contract

Position Overview
OMNI is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to support personnel security and clearance processing operations within a federal or Intelligence Community environment. This role serves as an embedded clearance specialist responsible for end-to-end processing of security checks, investigative review, and adjudicative support, while contributing to the development and refinement of a growing security program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct end-to-end processing of security checks and clearance requests in compliance with customer policies and IC directives
  • Review investigative files, perform record checks, and assess completeness and accuracy for adjudication support
  • Maintain detailed case records, documentation, and program files in accordance with reporting requirements
  • Support the stand-up and ongoing improvement of clearance program workflows and processes
  • Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clearance processing operations
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, briefings, and analytical products for leadership and stakeholders
  • Maintain and update program content within SharePoint and other document management systems
  • Coordinate intake and routing of inbound/outbound communications and case documentation
  • Provide adjudicative and personnel security support as directed across program areas
  • Utilize case management systems, databases, and research tools to support investigative and adjudicative functions


  • 10+ years of experience in clearance investigations, personnel security, or related investigative fields
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing investigative files and supporting adjudication decisions
  • 3+ years of experience writing Reports of Investigation or similar adjudicative documentation
  • Working knowledge of EO 12968, EO 10450, ICD 704, NISPOM, OPM Adjudicative Guidelines, and related regulations
  • Experience in federal law enforcement (1811), background investigations, or security investigations preferred
  • Proficiency with Lexis Nexis, Microsoft Office Suite, and open-source research tools
  • Ability to learn and utilize customer-specific systems for automated record checks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred or ability to obtain SCI
