What are your contributions to the team?

  • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in resolving repeat engineering-related systems and structural issues identified during installation, and ground and flight testing through robust root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes.
  • Drive internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to resolve recurring engineering-related technical issues through containment, mitigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, design changes, and implementation.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and take concrete actions to maintain high engagement.
  • Strengthen team performance and support ongoing development plans.
  • Ensure effective engineering support to Final Assembly Line (FAL), certification, and delivery operations.
  • Drive engineering-related master planning, define performance metrics, and implement team governance to deliver accurate, relevant reporting on team performance.
  • Foster strong relationships across engineering, operations, and suppliers.
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and risks effectively at all levels.
  • Present engineering-related updates at leadership reviews and align team activities with program priorities.


How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor of Engineering Degree and eligibility for Professional Engineer registration.
  • You have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Management experience will be an asset.
  • Experience with RCCA tools (8D, Fault Tree, Fishbones, Kepner-Tregoe, etc.)
  • You have experience in providing engineering support to Final Assembly/Production Line.

The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $97,000 to CAD $137,000 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier's sole discretion, such as the candidate's skills, experience and qualifications.

In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
