What are your contributions to the team?Reporting to the Manager of Mechanical Systems Integration - Completions, you will lead a team responsible for the integration of supplier's mechanical system components for Bombardier's Challenger and Global portfolio:
- Lead the Mechanical Integration team overseeing supplier management and integration of Window Shades, Water & Waste, Oxygen, ECS, Tables and Door mechanisms, Insulation components for the Challenger and Global platforms.
- Ensure technical compliance by validating that engineering solutions meet customer expectations and certification requirements.
- Drive quality and schedule adherence for all engineering deliverables produced by the team.
- Support engineering change processes including PCR, RFC, and NOC activities.
- Manage team priorities and alignment across Operations, Detailed Design, Projects, Programs, and technical functions.
- Set annual objectives and lead continuous improvement initiatives for the team.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations including PMP/PDP reviews, salary assessments, and career progression discussions.
- Maintain workload forecasting and resource planning to support program needs.
- Coach and support employees to foster technical growth, engagement, and team cohesion.
How to thrive in this role?- You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of ten (10) years of aerospace experience.
- You bring experience in interior completions, systems installation, and/or manufacturing operations.
- You are knowledgeable in interior completion design and engineering change management processes.
