Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Maintenance field desired; technical degree/training or certifications in General Maintenance, Electrical and/or Refrigeration may substitute experience.
• 5-7 years of demonstrated maintenance management experience in manufacturing, with a track record managing 7-10 mechanics.
• Experience with refrigeration mechanics is a plus; poultry experience preferred.
• Proficient in financial analysis within a Maintenance setting, familiar with Agristats.
• Knowledgeable in HACCP standards and USDA regulations regarding sanitation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, repair, and improvement of systems and equipment in designated areas.
• Oversee staffing, development, and performance of electricians and refrigeration technicians.
• Monitor and ensure area metrics are achieved, including cost per pound and maintenance budget adherence.
• Develop and manage safety programs to protect personnel and property and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure HR and safety policies are followed, including activity verification and disciplinary procedures.
