  • Conduct technical accounting research and draft memos for new guidance or changes
  • Support day-to-day accounting tasks, like reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, Legal, and other teams on SEC disclosures
  • Serve as a key liaison for interdepartmental issues
  • Drive SOX compliance in accounting and external reporting
Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • - Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports (Form 10-Q and 10-K)
  • Responsible for SEC compliance and maintaining up to date knowledge regarding SEC comment letter trends and new disclosure requirements
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors throughout the reporting process
  • Manage quarterly and annual filing documents within Workiva, including the maintenance of XBRL and filing credentials, and maintenance of supporting documentation and records.
  • Prepare technical accounting research and write technical accounting memos for new guidance or ad-hoc changes in the business
  • Assist in various day-to-day accounting and month-end close activities, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Coordinate with Treasury, Tax, Legal and other teams regarding SEC disclosures
  • Key person in working with other departments on any issues that come up
  • Drive SOX compliance in our corporate accounting and external reporting functions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 4- 6 years' experience in accounting or financial reporting
  • CPA Preferred
  • SEC Reporting experience (Public Accounting and/or Industry)
  • Forward thinker with desire and drive to improve processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
