The role is for an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) focused on delivering quality solutions within an Agile environment. The position requires supporting testing activities across retail and merchandising applications while contributing to both functional and automation testing efforts. The role involves working on multiple platforms, including web, mobile, cloud, and desktop applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Your role
- Perform functional and automated testing throughout Agile sprint cycles.Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Test retail and merchandising applications across web, mobile, cloud, and desktop platforms.
- Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance tests.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through their resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and deployment teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in DevOps-driven quality initiatives.
- Prepare and communicate test status updates, test closure reports, and weekly/monthly metrics.
- Troubleshoot issues during deployments and support production validation activities.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and drive testing activities independently.
Your skills and experience
- 5+ years of experience in Agile Functional Testing, Test Automation, and Quality Engineering.
- Strong Retail and Merchandising domain experience.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and technologies such as, Selenium, Robot Framework,UFT, Java, Python, API Testing.
- Experience testing applications across, web, mobile, cloud and desktop environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD automated build and deployment processes.
- Experience creating and managing defect reports and test documentation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with multiple teams and driving quality initiatives.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911 - $161,544.
