MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master to join our innovative team. This is a REMOTE position.

The Scrum Master operates as a dedicated servant-leader whose primary objective is to ensure that individual Agile development and configuration teams function at peak efficiency. This role serves as a critical facilitator at the tactical team level to shield engineers and maximize delivery velocity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Facilitating critical team-level Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Actively shielding developers, APEX engineers, and Oracle configuration specialists from external organizational distractions.
  • Aggressively clearing operational blockers and program-level impediments that cross individual team boundaries.
  • Mapping technical dependencies between database migration tasks, Oracle Integration Cloud middleware pipelines, and automated QA scripts.
  • Working with management, internal teams, and project authorities to successfully navigate continuous delivery milestones.
  • Maintaining system sprint baselines and tracking team performance metrics to ensure goals are consistently met.
  • Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and workflow improvements to drive relentless team optimization.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in technical project management or Scrum leadership.
  • Significant experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing delivery workflows in a scaled framework environment.
  • Significant experience working across a large team to drive a delivery agenda with complex, intertwined data flows.
  • Experience resolving technical delivery blockers involving enterprise middleware pipelines or database migrations.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation, particularly sprint logs and dependency maps.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified ScrumMaster, Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
  • Deep technical understanding of Agile tracking tools and automated portfolio management software.


Clearance Requirements:
  • An active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and collaborative spaces.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering technical presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $109,000.00-$181,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
