Full Job Description
ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC (AFAR) is seeking a Scrum Master to join our Enterprise-Information Display System (E-IDS) team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace (WJHTCAA) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This is a full-time on-site position (no remote or hybrid work).

The FAA's Enterprise Information Display System (E-IDS) is a modernized, enterprise-level platform and display developed in-house to replace multiple legacy Information Display Systems (IDSs) in over 500 air traffic control facilities. It provides static and real-time consolidated data to controllers, including weather, airport runway status/visibility, maps, and facility directives aimed at improving efficiency.

Citizenship/Permanent Residency Requirement

All candidates must have the following to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance.
  • Be a US Citizen, have a US Green Card, or a Non-immigrant Work Authorization (VISA).
  • Has resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years.
  • The company is unable to sponsor candidates at this time.
  • RealID Driver's License/ID or current US Passport.


Relocation Requirement

Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Education, Experience, & Clearance Requirement

All non-US Degrees must have a US Equivalency Certificate provided by the candidate.
  • Bachelor degree in a business or related field is desired.
  • Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable.
  • Six (6) to nine (9) years of related work experience.
  • This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s).


Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills
  • Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe.

Daily Job Duties

This role will focus on facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing delivery blockers, improving team collaboration, and helping engineering teams execute efficiently across multiple initiatives.
  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including:
    • Daily standups
    • Sprint planning/reviews/demos
    • Retrospectives
    • Backlog refinement
  • Track sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Remove impediments and coordinate issue resolution across teams.
  • Help teams maintain healthy Agile practices and delivery discipline.
  • Support backlog management and prioritization activities.
  • Monitor team velocity, burn-down metrics, and sprint health.
  • Assist with release planning and cross-team coordination.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Agile maturity.
