Le/la candidat(e) devra évaluer l'immunogénicité et l'efficacité des nouveaux vaccins en participant à plusieurs essais reliés à l'immunologie, tels que des ELISAs, ou en utilisant des technologies telles que le MesoScale Discovery (MSD) et le Luminex.

Vos principales responsabilités:
  • Planifier, exécuter et documenter des procédures analytiques en suivant les instructions (PON) et guide règlementaire.
  • Exécuter des analyses d'échantillon de routine et d'entretien de méthode selon les requis des clients.
  • Participer au développement de méthodes ou aux phases de qualification et validation.
  • Identifier et documenter les erreurs et problèmes potentiels ou résultats aberrants afin d'escalader au scientifique.
  • Faire le suivi et maintenir l'inventaire des réactifs et matériels.
  • Préparer les solutions requises pour les analyses.
  • Analyser les résultats obtenus pour les entrer dans le LIMS, selon les procédures en place afin de maintenir la qualité et l'intégrité des résultats.
  • Participer à la rédaction des investigations et déviations.
  • Effectuer l'entretien et la calibration des instruments lorsque nécessaire.
  • Participer proactivement à toutes initiatives permettant la formation des paires, l'optimisation des opérations, la satisfaction de nos clients et la croissance de l'entreprise.
  • Veuillez noter que des tests de routine sont parfois nécessaires, avec certains essais dépassant l'horaire standard de 9 à 17 heures et nécessitant des journées de travail de 10 heures.


Ce que nous recherchons:
  • Baccalauréat dans une discipline scientifique pertinente (certains laboratoires accrédités CAP/CLIA peuvent exiger un baccalauréat en chimie, en biologie ou en technologie de laboratoire médical).
  • 1 an d'expérience pertinente en développement de méthodes ou de tests (assays), ou dans un domaine méthodologique spécifique.
  • Au minimum 6 mois d'expérience dans un environnement réglementé (BPL, BPLC).
  • Être à l'aise dans des environnements à forte croissance.
  • Connaissance des bonnes pratiques de laboratoire clinique BPLC est un atout.
  • Aptitude pour le travail minutieux, la communication et le travail en équipe dans un environnement multidisciplinaire.
  • Expérience en industrie (CRO, Biopharma ou entreprises en biotechnologies) est un atout
  • Dextérité manuelle.
  • Connaissances suffisantes de l'anglais et du français écrit afin d'être en mesure de bien comprendre les documents servant à l'exécution du travail et d'interagir avec nos clients majoritairement anglophones.

Job Overview

The candidate will have the chance to participate in the daily life of the most successful advanced testing service provider in the immunology field, using different assays such as ELISA, MSD, and Luminex.

Essential Functions:
  • Plans, performs, and documents analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Performs routine sample analysis and assay maintenance as per client pre-requisite.
  • Participates, to assay development, including qualification and validation phases.
  • Identifies and documents potential performance errors or otherwise unusual results and escalates to senior lab personnel.
  • Performs and maintains inventory of material and reagents.
  • Prepares buffers and solutions for analysis, as required.
  • Prepares data analysis results for upload to LIMS system according to procedure in place to maintain the quality and integrity of data.
  • Assists in quality investigations, deviations, and resolution.
  • Performs and document calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned.
  • Participates to any initiative allowing peer training, operation optimization, client satisfaction and company growth.
  • Please note that routine testing is occasionally required, with some assays extending beyond the standard 9-5 schedule and necessitating 10-hour workdays.

  • 1 year of related experience in method or assay development or specific methodology area.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a regulated environment (GLP, BPLC).
  • Comfortable working in high-growth environments.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Laboratory Practice GCLP is an asset.
  • Ability to work with attention to detail, communication, and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience in industry (CRO, Biopharma or biotech companies) is an asset.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Sufficient knowledge of written English and French to be able to fully understand the documents used to carry out the work and to interact with our mainly English-speaking customers.


You will be required to work directly with IQVIA departments, teams, support functions and stakeholders located across Canada and around the world therefore, a functional knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is necessary to perform the duties of this position.
