Full Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Drive AngioSafe scientific leadership through research, congress symposia, publications, and educational activities
  • Collaborate with medical affairs team to keep educational and speaker decks/presentations up-to-date with newer literature
  • Cultivate, establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key opinion and thought leaders
  • Manage collaborative studies with key opinion leaders and customs to scientifically promote AngioSafe products
  • Support clinical studies for regulatory approvals of AngioSafe products
  • Provide scientific and technical expertise cross-functionally (e.g. R&D, Marketing/Commercial) for support activities of existing product offerings and identification of new products and their respective development
  • Maintain expert working knowledge of the vascular field and the technologies developed by AngioSafe
  • Monitor industry developments to assess competitive activity and identify opportunities for future business opportunities
  • Communicate highly technical information clearly and effectively to a broad audience
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of AngioSafe products, related products, technical knowledge, trends and players
  • Work, as needed with partners, on merits and proper clinical usage of company products by creating and delivering presentations to keep all abreast of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to support milestone achievement
  • Consistently uphold company standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity
  • Promote a positive work environment that stresses and demonstrates cooperation and mutual support for colleagues

Skills / Experience / Education / Behaviors
  • Advanced degree in life sciences field
  • Experience working in Scientific Affairs, with emphasis on publications; experience in vascular therapeutic area preferred
  • High-level of expertise of catheter-based interventional procedures; Fundamental knowledge about the field of catheters and trends in the area
  • Proven ability to scientific thinking to solve technical problems to support a variety of customers and collaborators
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with inherent initiative and adaptability to changing priorities; consistently meet deadlines effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across the organization; demonstrates a high level of maturity, self-motivation, and team-orientation
  • Good sense of humor with a wild enthusiasm for producing and selling cool new products for catheter development
  • Proficiency with technology including demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel, as required
