School Social Worker to provide in-person services for charter high school students.
This position starts August 25th and is for the upcoming school year.School Social Worker Salary: $50-$55 per hour
School Social Worker Schedule: Full-Time (7:55 AM-2:55 PM)
School Social Worker Qualifications: - Must have school certification in New Jersey
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include: - Providing Behavioral Support Services
- Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
- Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
- Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
- Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
- Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
- Handling Medicare reimbursements
