Full Job Description
Overview

HealthPRO Pediatrics has an immediate need for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide short-term school-based coverage across two elementary schools in Washington State. This is a great opportunity for an RN looking to pick up additional hours, with the assignment projected through October and the possibility of extension through the end of the school year.

  • Two Elementary School Locations
  • $45-$50/hour | W-2 | Benefits
  • Oversee Individual Health Plans, medication orders, and student health needs
  • Immediate start available


Responsibilities

  • Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students' health and wellness.
  • Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
  • Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
  • Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA's code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP's

  • School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience managing Individual Health Plans (IHPs), medication administration, and student health needs preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently across two elementary school locations
  • Knowledge of Washington State RN scope of practice and school health requirements
