This Opportunity

WSP is seeking Schedulers to join our Project Controls team. These individuals can be based out of our locations in Overland Park KS, Ft. Worth TX, San Diego CA, or Phoenix AZ.

Who You Are

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases.
  • Create, update, and analyze execution schedules for concurrent projects.
  • Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and work package activities.
  • Establish baseline schedules through review of contract requirements, durations, logic, resources, and cost/resource profiles.
  • Review schedule updates, generate comparison reports, and analyze variances.
  • Assess schedule issues, scope changes, and delays; provide recommendations for project and executive leadership.
  • Partner with project teams to identify risks and develop reliable forecasts through completion.
  • Perform time impact analyses to quantify delay effects.
  • Support recovery planning and conduct schedule recovery reviews.
  • Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives.


Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in developing and managing CPM project schedules in Primavera.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of cost and resource loading project schedules.
  • Experience with contract change order management.
  • Experience performing Time Impact Analyses.
  • Project financial forecasting capability.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with large and complex client programs involving one or more project teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready reporting.
  • Building construction or project management experience.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $ 130,900-$170,100/year

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
