What will you do?

Are you a highly motivated SCADA hardware/software specialist with a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex industrial problems? If so, we want you to join our team as a Technical Sales Consultant focused on SCADAPack Smart RTUs.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for working with customers to help them create solutions using the SCADAPack hardware/software package and other Schneider solutions. You will collaborate closely with other TSCs, internal and external sales staff, offer management, and R&D to develop, build, troubleshoot, and enhance solutions for customers. The primary markets you will focus on will be the upstream and midstream energy sectors, as well as water and wastewater, among others.

Travel: The ability to travel up to 50% of the time is essential for this position. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to travel frequently across the United States and Canada to meet with customers and provide technical knowledge, expertise, and training.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or Technologist Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a similar discipline is required
  • PLC/RTU integration experience is preferred
  • You should also be a self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role


Desired qualifications:
  • Include experience with cloud-based infrastructures and data management in IIoT, automation systems such as SCADA hardware and software, RTUs, and PLCs, and automation protocols such as MQTT, Sparkplug B, OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3, and EthernetIP.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and/or OT Security, including Active Directory and Azure AD, is also desirable.
  • Good understanding of Linux systems and Python applications

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
