Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in SCADA environments
• Ignition certification preferred
• Strong experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (HMI development, configuration, scripting, support)
• Experience in SCADA migrations, upgrades, or system enhancements
• Working knowledge of Python and/or Jython
• Familiarity with SCADA telemetry standards and industrial communication protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot production systems in operational settings
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in DER, energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure is an asset
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SCADA systems using Inductive Automation Ignition
• Support new DER and client projects with onboarding and commissioning
• Execute migrations and upgrades from AVEVA to Ignition
• Develop and maintain SCADA screens, dashboards, and UI components
• Provide operational support for SCADA-Ignition requests and tickets
• Perform upgrades, patching, testing, and QA for Ignition
• Collaborate with teams to enhance delivery and reliability
• Contribute to documentation and improvement of SCADA practices
• Participate in a tiered support and on-call model
