THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 2 Satellite Mission Engineer with an active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance to work from our Aurora, CO location.

This role is within the Double Eagle organization supporting the Ground Engineering Team as a Ground Engineer. There are multiple technical career paths you can take on this team, and depending on which path you take, you may:
• Provide ground system oversight
• Provide troubleshooting, problem identification, analysis, problem resolution, and maintenance activities for hardware and software issues
• Provide integration of new system functionalities
• Provide hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
• Be responsible for multiple program processes and documentation management
• Provide project portfolio management for the greater team
• Act as a program authority and spokesperson for ground related issues and coordinate/collaborate directly with numerous program teams
• Participate in and/or lead working groups and make presentations/recommendations to customers and the leadership team on detailed technical aspects of the system
• Potentially be on-call 24/7 on a rotational basis within a 2 hour recall

Candidate should have ground engineering/operations experience, advanced communication skills, and a strong desire to help the greater team be successful.

This is an EMERGING PROFESSIONAL (level 2) CAREER ROLE where candidates typically require 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical degree; equivalent professional experience or relevant job experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
• Must have a demonstrated ability to cultivate and develop effective customer relationships and work with senior technical management
• Ability to learn and troubleshoot complex systems
• Basic programming skills using UNIX/LINUX operating system
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required for consideration

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
