This role will primarily support and enhance SAP ECC order management, pricing, delivery, shipping, Transportation, returns, and service processes, resolving issues, improving workflows, reducing manual work, and driving clean, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide day‑to‑day SAP ECC support in SD, CS, and TM, including configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

  • Support and enhance order management, pricing, delivery creation, picking/packing, shipment execution, and billing processes.

  • Support and enhance integrations with Salesforce and other external order‑submission and logistics execution channels (EDI, portals, APIs), ensuring stable end‑to‑end order and shipment flow into SAP ECC with clear error handling and business‑friendly recovery processes.

  • Must have strong experience with revenue‑recognition processes where revenue is driven from the sales order, customer contract, delivery, or service completion, ensuring correct integration with downstream billing and financial posting in SAP ECC.

  • Strengthen and optimize CS processes, including:

    • Service notifications and service orders

    • Repair and refurbishment flows

    • Warranty, service contracts, and customer complaints

    • Installed base and equipment tracking (if applicable)

  • Enhance transportation execution, including:

    • Shipment creation and freight cost handling

    • Carrier selection and communication

    • Integration with external TMS platforms

    • Outbound delivery transportation planning

  • Work directly with sales, customer service, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to understand operational pain points and translate them into practical ECC solutions.

  • Streamline processes, reduce manual work, and eliminate unnecessary customizations to move toward SAP standard best practices.

  • Document processes and functional designs in a clear, business‑friendly manner.

  • Begin building the path toward S/4HANA:

    • Identify simplification items and OTC impacts for SD, CS and TM

    • Recommend clean‑core approaches

    • Highlight areas where ECC technical debt will impact S/4 readiness

  • Collaborate closely with other SAP functional teams and developers. Must have experience managing and working with contractors.

  • Support testing cycles, cutover activities, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
  • 10–15+ years SAP experience with deep SAP ECC SD/CS/TM skills.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Contracts/Order processing, Pricing conditions and output

    • Delivery processing and shipment execution

    • Customer returns, warranty repairs, refurbishment, and service notifications

    • Transportation planning and TMS/3PL integrations

  • Experience supporting customer service teams and logistics teams in day‑to‑day operations.

  • Ability to communicate without jargon, clear, simple explanations for business teams.

  • Curiosity, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach.

Must‑Haves
  • Must be hands‑on in ECC configuration across SD, CS, and TM (not just oversight).

  • Must be able to run workshops with sales, customer service, and logistics teams.

  • Must be able to analyze pricing, delivery, service, and shipping breakdowns and recommend standard SAP‑based solutions.

  • Must be able to document processes and functional and technical specs clearly and concisely.

  • Must collaborate well with other architects and functional consultants.

  • Must have experience in building integrations with third party systems.

  • Must be authorized to work in US.

Location & Travel
  • Location: Louisville, KY or Salt Lake City, UT preferred.
