Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant to lead design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP SD modules in an SAP ECC or S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in
Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, pricing, billing, shipping, and integration with other SAP modules.
Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Design & Implementation - Configure and implement SAP SD components including Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management, Rebates, and Returns.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional specifications.
- Set up master data elements (Customer, Material, Pricing Conditions, Output Determination).
- Configure Sales Documents, Delivery Processing, Billing Types, and Copy Control settings.
- Handle ATP, item categories, schedule lines, and partner determination.
Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with FI, MM, and WM/EWM teams for integrated end-to-end business processes.
- Support interfaces with external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, EDI, and middleware.
- Coordinate with ABAP team for enhancements, reports, and custom developments.
Testing, Support & Rollout - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression cycles.
- Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Support data migration activities and validate conversion objects.
- Prepare training materials and deliver end-user training.
Required Skills & Qualifications - 5-10+ years of experience in SAP SD implementation and support.
- Expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle, contract management, pricing procedures, billing, and logistics execution.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration.
- Solid understanding of cross-functional integration with FI/CO, MM, PP, WM/EWM.
- Experience with IDocs, EDI, BAPIs, and enhancements.
- Ability to write functional design documents (FDDs) and work with technical teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in S/4HANA Sales (nice-to-have but strongly preferred).
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with S/4HANA Simplified Logistics (Business Partner, new credit management).
- Exposure to SAP CRM, SAP GTS, or SAP CX.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps in Sales.
- SAP SD certification is a plus.
